This beautiful Itauba is from Eastern Brazil. Colors range from reds to browns with a combination of golden yellow. The wood works well with sharp tools and takes a high natural polish that is glassy and smooth. The grain is generally interlocked, giving some three dimensional properties to quarter sawn faces. Pomelle figure may be present. Pin holes or minor end checks may exist in the sapwood. This wood has air dried for 2.5 years as of November of 2023 and may contain some residual moisture. The ends are wax sealed. Boards over 36″ may have a slight bow or twist. Enjoy this South American beauty! This piece has inclusions, checks, and bug holes. Please see pictures for details.

Stock is dynamic, and cannot be fully controlled by us because of the involvement of multiple parties including the factory and our warehouse. This means that the actual stock could alter at any time. It's possible that the stocks could be depleted after your order has been processed.
The policy is for 30 days. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed from the date you purchased the item, we will not be able to provide a refund or exchange.
